Another app for my IPhone that I use quite a bit is My Lists.

This app lets you create lists for just about anything. I use it for lists for the different grocery stores we frequent (Safeway, Costco, Target, Walmart, etc) all the time.

I'm a natural list-maker so anytime I get lists of items I need to remember, I take a few moments and create a list in this app to help me remember. I'm then able to "let it go" and get on with my day.

I really love using this app when preparing for a trip out of town. With two dogs, one cat and needs for both my husband and myself, even a simple trip out of town requires remembering quite a few things. As I think of items, I add them to my trip list. And every trip we prepare for takes less time to prepare the list as the app stores my previous lists (until I delete them) so I can just edit a previous list.

There is room to enter additional notes for an item on a list. This is helpful when there are additonal details I need to remember for that item or a particular store I need to purchase that item at.

You can email any list to any email address so that is helpful when I want to send a list to the husband :)

I also like all the fun little icons you can choose to appear next to your lists.

Overall, great app and well worth the $1.99 price.

Urban Spoon

The very first application I installed after the ITunes App Store went live in July 2008 was Urban Spoon. This is a free app that users can use to find dining options local to them.

The website for the developer is Urb anSpoon.com. Their widget can be used from their website as well as downloaded from the ITunes App Store.

In the IPhone App, you can use the dials to sort by location, type of food, and price range. You can manually move the dials or you can lock one or more of the dials on your preference, shake your phone and the app will find a restaurant for you.

You can then get more information on the restaurant in question as well as read reviews.

But the first step to what?

So, yes, I admit it. I'm completely addicted to the App Store in ITunes. I currently have EIGHT screens of apps installed on my IPhone and not all my apps are currently installed. Sick. I know. But I spend 99% of my workday at the computer so sitting on the couch or crawling into bed and playing a fun game on my IPhone is one of my favorite ways to relax.

I also play games on my PC and have been a subscriber to Shockwave for several years.

And yes, we have a Wii. We have the Wii Fit and just got the new Active from EA Sports this past weekend.

Our favorite game to play with our friends is Mario Kart.

So, back to the IPhone Apps. As my collection has grown, I've realized that I have opinions on many of them that I'd like to share. I do leave ratings and comments on many of the apps I've purchased but I decided to create this blog where I could share my opinions more in depth. I encourage any readers to chime in with their opinions as well.
